On July 13, a seminar for experts on professional training and assessment of special needs child care-givers was held in Beijing Child Welfare Institute. Present at the meeting were Head of the Coordination Section of Human Resources Department of Ministry of Civil Affairs Mr. Xu Hua, Deputy Director-General of CCAA Ms. Gan Weiwei, Director of Child Care Department of CCAA Ms. Tie Ling, Deputy Director of Professional Assessment Guidance Office of Ministry of Civil Affairs Mr. Sun Yulin, and experts from the Assessment Group for Professional Special Needs Child Care-givers, Zhu Liping, Zeng Fanlin and Wei Guorong, etc. Ms. Gan Weiwei and Mr. Xu Hua delivered speeches at the meeting.

The main aim of this seminar is to summarize work of the previous stage and to deploy work for the next one to ensure the on-time organization of trainings for professional special needs child care-givers. During the meeting, officials and experts examined the assessment question pool, reviewed the content of training material, and discussed about the design of training course, selection of lecturers, syllabus of the training and manual for lecturers. The seminar was progressed according to the schedule and achieved the expected results.
