How Many Post Placement Reports must be Sent to the CCAA?
Date of Post£ºJanuary 26, 2006 Source:CCAA

In the sixth and twelfth months that an adopted child is home, adoption agencies must respectively designate a social worker to visit the adoptive family¡¯s home and compose a post placement report according to the interview. The post placement report must then be submitted to the China Center of Adoption Affairs (CCAA) within three months of the home visit. If the adopted child has been home for less than one year and has not yet attained citizenship, the adoption agency must continue post placement service with the social worker visiting the home and writing post placement reports at six-month intervals to be provided to the CCAA until the adopted child has attained citizenship. For example, following a child¡¯s adoption registration in China in January 2004 and going home, the adoption agency must designate a social worker to visit the adoptive family in July. The social worker must compose the first post placement report and submit it to the CCAA by the end of October. In January 2005, the designated social worker must again visit the family and compose a post placement report. The second post placement report must be submitted to the CCAA by the end of March 2005.
