(1) Conducted an initial welfare organization childcare training class. Participants subscribed to a “United Proposal of China Social Welfare Organizations for Children’s Healthy Development,” and at the same time called on all social welfare organizations and loving people.

(2) Confirmed and commenced two tasks for research. One developed in conjunction with the Capital Pediatric Research Institute a “China Social Welfare Organizations Actuality and Countermeasures” research task. The other developed in conjunction with the People’s Liberation Army Number Three Medical University a “Social Welfare Organization Guidance Outline” research task.

(3) Prepared to construct a welfare organization childcare training base. Confirmed three training bases in Chongqing (mainly caretaker training), Jiangsu (mainly nutritionists and physical therapists), and Beijing (mainly kindergarten teachers and doctors), student graduation, and examined eligibility to ensure it reaches nationally-used aptitude certification.

(4) Developed an investigation and survey into the true nature of childcare work actuality.

(5) Several cooperative projects have already been launched or are currently under consult, including Half the Sky’s “Two Tasks” and other cooperative work: Grace Foundation’s “Medical Ministry, older children’s education, and donated goods;” Christian World’s “Little Rocking Chair Program;” World Association for Children and Parents’ “Medical Treatment and Immunizations Program;” and some Canadian adoptive parents’ “Little Blanket Program.”

(6) Demonstrated and prepared “Childcare Work Program” action committee.
