From mid January to February, Hunan, Guizhou and Anhui provinces suffered from severe rainy, snowy and frozen climate which is very rare throughout these years. Social welfare institutions in these areas were under impact to different degrees, especially institutions in Chenzhou, Shaoyang, Hengyang, Hengnan, Xiangtan and You County and Eastern and Southern Guizhou Provinces. Houses and outdoor facilities were seriously damaged and water pipes were broken due to the severe cold. Plants and electrical wires outside were also damaged. Their normal life and study is deeply influenced. All made it urgent to restore after the disaster. In order to help the institutions affected rebuild their constructions and restore their work, CCAA will start a ˇ°Love Campaign for Restoration after Snow Disasterˇ± from now. We hope that all adoption agencies, adoptive families and individuals home and abroad which have been caring for the orphaned and disabled children in China will give a hand to these institutions to go through the present situation and help them restore to their normal life.
