In order to improve the quality of child care in the welfare institutes in China, we have initiated the “Project of Love.” The project is aimed to improve the infrastructure and equipment related to child care. We welcome domestic and international organizations and individuals to join in the execution of this project. Your donation and involvement are at will in terms of the amounts and items donated.Additionally, you can designate specific provinces or institutes. We are also willing to hear proposals for additional projects related to child care in the welfare institutes.
The following are what the Project is hoping to be able to equip the institutes with:
I. Bottle Preparation Room
The institutes normally have an area for the caretakers to prepare the bottles. We are planning to help 30 institutes set up a room for bottle preparation. It cost about 10,000 RMB each and 300,000RMB for 30 rooms. |

I. Clinic Room
We are planning to help 30 institutes set up or improve clinic rooms. The main functions of the clinic rooms are to provide basic and daily medical care to children. The costs for one clinic room is about 40,000RMB including 30,000RMB basic medical equipments and annual salary for one medical personnel (10,000RMB/Year).The total costs will be about 1,200,000RMB 。 |

III. Physical Therapy Room
In order to provide adequate physical therapy to children with special needs as well as provide early education to all the children, we are planning to help 30 institutes setup and improve their physical therapy (play) rooms. One physical therapy room would cost approximately 40,000 RMB. The total costs are about 1,200,000RMB. |

IV. Laundry Room
Given the fact the amount the laundry and limited number of institute staff, laundry has been burdensome to the institutes. We are planning to help 30 institutes set up laundry rooms. Each laundry room would cost about 20,000RMB which is about 600,000 in total. |

V. Incubator
A significant portion of the children entering the institute are premature, with low birth weight, or sick newborns. Incubators are life savers to these children. We are planning to equip 80 institutes each with at least one incubator. An incubator costs about 7,000 to 10,000 RMB. The total cost will be about 800,000 RMB.
The above are our main goals. We hope that with your help we can reach our goals and the children in the institutes will greatly benefit from all our joint efforts.
